We installed a "pig-stick" at the top of the mast with Shuubirds and placed all Shuubirds in late July, 2021. No bird problems since positioned the 5 Shuubirds as you suggested.
In the past we tried CDs, birds of prey, snakes, and everything recommended on the market on our sailboat, but nothing worked as well when placed as you suggested. It's been about 6 months and no more bird problems.
We never had a vendor to take such personal interest to make contact after the sell to assure we were satisfied with the purchase and assist with installation of their products.
Excellant product and service after the sell.
Best regards, Bill J.
I'm overwhelmed!!! Ty so much for figuring this out. Please tell me what I owe you for them, and the last birds. I went out to the dock today after not being out there over a week----and no satanic ritual on the dock or boat, and most importantly NOT on our boat. Thank you thank you.
I'm sending your information to my neighbor. They own a 40' catamaran and have birds on their boat. She actually told me about Shuubirds bc you reached out to her by email advertising.
Anyways, they have been helpful w/my solution and I know you will be helpful to them
Have a great weekend! Kim H.
It is interesting. We have had no problems so far with nothing in the rigging. Pleanty of Seagulls around but they seem to be using the mooring buoys at the moment. I am waiting to see what happens.
Best regards, Lucy L.
Funny you should write Paul.
I happen to be thinking about you last night.
Mission accomplished. While it's not possible to completely eliminate the birds, due in part to the triatic stay, there was a significant decrease in the number of birds and consequential mess on the deck this year. As we approach the summer months and the birds seem to disappear, I'll probably remove the Shuubirds.
I have two more to get me through at least the beginning of next winter but will definitely be ordering more when they're done.
Thank you, Jack E.
Thanks, Paul, for the follow-up.
You can use the photos on your website.
They are all doing a great job.
I still have to place them up to spreader height.
